Eva Mendes is headlining a campaigning, lending her face and voice to what Mendes says is ‘one of my favorite designers of all-time’; Thierry Mugler. Mendes stars alongside the reincarnation of the iconic ‘Angel’ fragrance. The campaign features Mendes getting her wings and unveiling the Eau De Toilette version of ‘Angel’ which will be in stores in August. The new Angel Eau de Toilette will include a revamped bottle featuring a comet and star as well as a lighter reformulation of the classic scent with notes of bergamot, pink peppercorn, praline, red berries, cedar, patchouli, vanilla and musk blanc. Since Thierry Mugler released his first Angel perfume in 1992 it has enjoyed a welcomed stay as one of the top ten sold fragrances in the United States and Europe as well as transcending through generations of women. Mendes has said of the iconic fragrance; ”It came out while I was still in school, and both of my sisters and my mother liked to wear the fragrance. It’s really nostalgic for me! Mugler was definitely a big name in our household when I was a kid.”

In a video, released by the brand, Mendes is singing “The Windmills of Your Mind”, a song originally performed by Noel Harrison for the 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair.Mendes’ musical talents will soon be featured again as she will play legendary Greek opera soprano Maria Callas in a biopic based off the book Greek Fire.
