When it comes to individual choices in fashion, makeup, and overall how you look, judgements seem to go hand-in-hand. Whether you’re a student, Christina Aguilera, and even Secretary of State, it seems the Fashion Police are on the prowl to asses your attire or lack of and openly critique what you have on. Hilary Clinton has been on the onslaught of media attention for her fashion, hair, and makeup choices to which she responded beautifully with; “I feel so relieved to be at the stage I’m at in my life right now. Because you know if I want to wear my glasses I’m wearing my glasses. If I want to wear my hair back I’m pulling my hair back. You know at some point it’s just not something that deserves a lot of time and attention. And if others want to worry about it, I let them do the worrying for a change.”

I rarely read, and actually don’t care about Best Dressed and Worst Dressed list, or complete articles bashing one’s attire’ none of that interests me. My cue to go grab drinks is when I’m with a group and one member gestures about another patron about her dress being too small or ‘she shouldn’t wear that because blah, blah, blah’. I appreciate those who love fashion and I appreciate those who use fashion and styling as a form of individual expression. When I get ready for my day, I tend to play music, put on makeup, and when it comes to my attire I think about what I’m doing for the day and how my outfit will function in it. From time to time, I get compliments on my outfit, and sometimes I get less-than-stellar reviews ranging from it being too revealing, too-this-too-that, too covered. None of that at this point in my life, good or bad, really changes the scope of my day because: 1.) I realize that I’m most comfortable in bikinis, lingerie, or t-shirt and undies. But, I know I can’t wear that to work, school or grocery shopping, so I just make sure I put on something clean (I prefer jeans and a top), 2.) Keep bodypart displays in twos. Two is my comfort number. If I show cleavage, I may show leg or back but not all three. If I show midriff, I may show leg but most likely not cleavage. 3.) If I get a less-than-stellar review on my outfit and it bothers me, I generally just remind myself of my actual interest in fashion which is minimal and it seems to make my stress level about that comment diminish.

The Kardashian sisters are seemingly doing their part to help keep an iconic American company afloat. The Kardashian Kollection has done well with hits and sell-outs for the troubled Sears stores. From jeans, dress, intimates and more, the line of women’s wear has hit a sweet-spot with customers flocking to try on and buy their designs. Recently, celebrities like Dancing with the Star’s Co-host Brooke Burke, Celebrity Apprentice-alum Lisa Rinna and singer/actress Kristin Chenoweth have been spotted wearing the Kardashian Kollection Women’s Ottoman Pencil Dress. I like how this dress seems to fit every body type and compliment them from athletic, curvy, and slim. ( I know Chenoweth is petite but look at how that dress and pose show off her womanly curves).
I love this shade of red particularly with Khloe and in this picture for their ad campaign with her lips I can’t help but think of Khloe Kardashian as a modern version of Veronica Lake. Nope the deep wave isn’t there, but the freshness, stoic-nature (stoic is not a bad attribute in my opinion because I’ve always grown the respect the strength and beauty of those who carry this characteristic), glamour, and beauty is very much apparent.

Alyssa Campanella, Australia, Bikini, Jesinta Campbell, kooey swimwear, Miss Teen USA 2011, Miss USA 2011, Swimwear
Over the weekend I came home to find a little package waiting for me to unwrap. Inside the package was one of the cutest bikinis I’ve ever seen let alone had the chance to slip into. I was a bit intimidated by the tiny number from Kooey Swimwear with the bold fun purple and pink print bursting liveliness and cooing to me “Try Me! Try Me On! Ooooh!” and well…
I slipped it on and fell in love. For reference, I’m a US size 4-6 (which is equivalent to a AUS size 8, I believe) and although I’m not considered plus sized, I also don’t have Shannon Click’s body when she sported her Kooey bikini for Sports Illustrated. Ultimately, I do love my body but I do have issues in finding swimwear that doesn’t cut into the curve of my hip but also gives my bust support and coverage. However, I did find a suit from Kooey Swimwear that is not only stylish but flattering. I wanted to share a few reasons why I love this bikini from Kooey Swimwear.

Bottom line: As someone who lives in a place wear swimwear is just as much as a staple as t-shirts. Kooey Swimwear combines unique designs and quality to produce swimwear that is perfect for any surfer, fashionista, beach-bunny, or anyone else in between. I first heard of Kooey Swimwear in 2010, learning part of their story and how they merge the culture and diversity of Australia into their designs. And while I’m not an Aussie I can appreciate their approach to paying tribute to who they are, where they are from, and also where they are going.
When I think about all the swimsuits I have; many are colorful, some are fashionable but, this Kooey bikini is truly art. Cheers!

Megan Fox and Meagan Good are both as different as can be, but whenever I find myself saying “Me(a)gan looks so beautiful”, I find myself having to clarify which one I’m referring to, which is slightly pointless because they both are beautiful in their Foxy-Good way. However, they both have a similarity in which they both know how to allow one feature to steal the spotlight without going overkill and let the rest of their features play a supporting role.
Fox, features her eyes without doing an over-the-top smokey eye by playing up her lashes without added drama. The Giorgio Armani Beauty spokeswoman, allows her skin to look natural and her hair look effortless even when she hits the red carpet. Fox has looks to kill without ever looking over-killed.
Good, tends to play up her lips with bold colors but softens the look by not making the look too matte, frosted, or glossy but rather giving a satin finish. She subtly plays up her eyes while giving her skin a glowy, dewy look. Whether Good is sporting a casual look or hitting glamorous marks, she always looks a mix of bombshell, edgy, and regal. Her hair and makeup shows a bit of personality without ever looking ‘too much’ or being a detraction to her natural beauty.

Have you checked out the OPI Muppets Collection? I love all the colors but had a chance to try out two that I particularly like; ‘Rainbow Connection’ and ‘Designer de Better!’. They both sparkle in their own way, while ‘Rainbow Connection’ is a full-blown rainbow glitter extravaganza, ‘Designer de Better’ is high-shine metallic with flecks of silver.
‘Rainbow Connection’: It’s like a party on your nails, with only two coats. Make sure you let the first coat dry before applying the second. It also works well over any other polish.
‘Designer de Better!’: I love it! My favorite polish of all time is OPI ‘Cherish’ which even though is a green color, it has a metallic sheen which lightens the look. Same concept with ‘Designer de Better!’ I love the metallic look and love it just as much as ‘Cherish’ if not more because it has a beige tone to with a slightly pinkish undertone that I can only describe as Nude & Ice.

Every now and then, I find myself on Etsy ordering under an alias (Not that I’d ever be given perks for being Honey Lee, but just in case I end up raving something, I could honestly there were no perks or freebies and I was just a regular customer and they are genuinely a superb seller). In this case, I want to introduce you all to a little shop called “Inside The Birdcage” which sells amazing feather earrings.
Feathers have been flocking on everything from hair accessories, jewelry, clothing, and lashes. While feather hair extensions are a unique option for those who want to show off their wild side, earrings can have the same impact without going over the edge and providing a temporary and easy way to add color or nature to your look.
I love the selection of earrings offered at “Inside The Birdcage” because the owner & designer, Samantha Hauger, produces amazing work that is both high in quality, design, and range. There is a great selection of earrings that are subtle as well as those that show off a bit more personality. I ordered the reggae-infused “Buffalo Soldier” Feather Earrings because they immediately caught my eye due to my appreciation for reggae music and its legends. The shipping was exceptionally fast and communication on the status of my order was great as well.
The quality is beyond what I expected. I’ve tried other feather earrings and a lot of times they either shed, looked cheap, or were so light that any soft movement and the feather would be getting a slick look with my lip gloss. The weight of these earrings are heavy enough to not annoyingly take flight when you step into an air conditioned room, but light enough to be one of your more comfortable yet stylish pair of earrings to date. The dye doesn’t run, the feathers don’t shed, and you can use these earrings to compliment your look or add a bit of flair to your everyday T-shirt & jeans ensemble. Also, the feathers are luxuriously soft, I found myself gliding it along my cheek from time to time.

I wore these earrings with a pair of shorts and reggae-infused “Rasta-far-eye” makeup for a little festive event with friends. But I definitely see myself using these to bring some fun into a very plain look in the near future, because I do love these earrings.
If you find yourself with little time to spare, check out Samantha’s designs at “Inside The Birdcage”. Right now the entire store is 15% off with the coupon code “TURKEYDAY15″ till November 18th, 2011.

Ever see someone stroll by at the airport, mall, or club and see a tattoo on their arm, neck, or wrists that make you take a stop & stare. Does your peering eyes leer because the artistry perhaps? Or maybe because you think to yourself ‘I know that piece! It’s the monogram print from my BFF’s handbag that she left me borrow for my weekend getaway to SoHo’ and alas, as that fleeting thought leaves the room another thought quickly enters… ‘Did that person really that have my BFF’s handbag print tattooed on their arm? Wow.’
We probably all have seen a tattoo that we question either the design or placement, perhaps both and simply ask ‘Why?’ if not to the wearer then to ourselves. What would make me permanently place a butterfly, brand logo, tribal piece, or someone’s name on my exterior visible for the world to see. Now I’m not going to delve too much into the topic or taboo of tattoos because for the most part ‘personal choice’ and ‘appreciation of artwork’ enters my mind. But after the surge or fashionable temporary tattoos have grown ever-present from Chanel, Louis Vuitton and even Beyonce’s Dereon line, what is the real shock factor of someone placing a high-fashion permanent tattoo on their body. And what would it take for you to do it? 20% off your favor brand for being branded for life perhaps?

Jessica Alba is an undeniably beautiful woman, and through the years has divulged what beauty means through her eyes. But now as a mother, her body has changed and she lets Allure magazine, know that she has accepted it. Alba admits ”I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor,” and “My body’s just different. The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterward.” Alba jokingly adds “Unless you’re Gisele.” And while some may remember Alba as the poster-girl for hot bodies from her filmography of blockbuster hits like Into The Blue and Fantastic Four films, she shares ”According to some people, I peaked in my early 20s, I was like, ‘Oh, really? I feel like I’m getting better.’” signifying motherhood has changed her for the better. See her full interview in Allure on newstands July 19th and available on Ipad now.
Alba had the chance to serve as guest-editor for Allure‘s Facebook Page and shared a bunch of her beauty secrets with the magazine. Check it out below.
Her best tip from mom. ”Mom always told me to have a proper cleansing and moisturizing routine. No matter how tired I am, I cleanse and moisturize every morning and night. I wear minimum SPF 20 daily, whether in a tinted moisturizer or just sunscreen,” says Alba.
Her biggest makeup don’ts. ”Don’t overly powder your face—just apply loose powder where necessary. And you don’t always have to wear foundation; using a tinted moisturizer and spot concealer is a great trick to give a youthful glow to your skin,” Alba suggests.
Her no-makeup secret. ”Always curl your lashes, even when you don’t have mascara,” she says, revealing, “I usually don’t use mascara that much unless I’m looking really tired and puffy-eyed. I curl my eyelashes and brush a little mascara on the tips.”
Her beauty rules to live by. ”Try to drink 2 liters of water per day—it will do wonders for your skin. Eat a well-balanced diet and try to eliminate highly processed foods. Lastly, get some exercise in daily, even if it’s just 30 minutes a day for five days a week.”
Her red carpet must-haves. ”Glowing skin, prominent brows, and a few false lashes just on the outer corners of my eyes. From there I pump up the eye with color or pump up the lip with color depending on what’s best for the look,” Alba says.
Alba also shared and posted a few of her favorite looks that she has sported over the past years. See the full album here.

Back in the Summer of 03′, I remember visiting my grandmother’s house in Georgia. During that summer visit, Beyonce’s single ‘Crazy in Love’ off her debut solo-album was hot on the airwaves and quickly becoming the Summer Anthem. The video was amazing too, becoming one of the most recognized videos even to this day. Maybe it was the interlocking sequences of fashion, glamour, and not to mention the famous booty shake. However, for me and probably your little sister, it was the nostalgia of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ reinvented with Beyonce’s ruby red flashy stilettos, white halter top, and denim shorts along with her revamped svelte figure which made me want to find my own pair of flashy red stilettos and proceed to do an 8-count on a loading dock of a warehouse as if I were trying to dance for a chance to win a role in a Flashdance remake.

Finding my version of ruby-red heels to give me that quick-kick of yesteryear have proved somewhat of a challenge. While I’m not going to fork over my life’s savings and then some for an original pair of the ruby-red slipper’s Julie Garland wore in The Wizard of Oz, I’m also not trying to wear a pair with clear heels that is too sexy and get me arrested if I wear it down the wrong street. Which brings me to 2011 and finding a bright red hue shoe that doesn’t restrict my budget and won’t make me geographically challenged in fear of being mistaken for someone named Champagne. The latest addition of Novo Shoes is the SHOSTOPPER bootie which combines a sexy & feminine heel with the bold & strong look of the bootie heel that makes this look the ultimate show stopper. But to give you that extra sparkle the bootie has a crystal on the sole of the boot which creates a splendid display of lights that will have you clicking your heels on the dance floor saying “I don’t want to go home”. While the bold red color might be a bit much for some, paired with a white tee and denim, it instantly elevates your look into a not so Halloween version of our favorite gal from Kansas. The black version of the bootie is great to add a little flash with your favorite LBD like Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi did on the Late Show with David Letterman and going out on the town with her current beau Jionni LaVelle.
The reigning Miss Australia Universe, Jesinta Campbell, is the stunning face of NOVO shoes. The ‘Down Under’ beauty will crown the 2011 Miss Australia Universe titleholder next month while the Miss Australia Universe Organization showcases the SHOSTOPPER in the finals. NOVO is releasing limited addition pairs of the SHOSTOPPER booties available in sizes 5-10 from July 2011. So get your pair to take your outfit to a SHOSTOPPER level by clicking the link below to click your heels away.

Adidas, Arts, David Beckham, Derrick Rose, Estelle, fashion, Jeremy Scott, Katy Perry, Lionel Messi, Method Man
Katy Perry, David Beckham, Estelle, Method Man, Derrick Rose, B.o.B., and more have signed up to be part of what should be an iconic campaign for Adidas. However, when I first saw Katy Perry as part of the latest and most star-studded set of brand ambassadors for Adidas, I couldn’t help but wonder how would Katy Perry’s quirky style be infused into the sportswear line. But, alas, with a french fries inspired bathing suit and ballet flats with wings, Adidas is more than on par to accomodate its most unique fashionistas.
Katy Perry’s bright yellow leotard is actually the Jeremy Scott Fries suit. Priced at $80, the suit is inspired by Scotts’ Fall 2006 “Eat the Rich” line. The bold print of a brightly colored leotard looks absolutely delicious on Katy Perry. Additionally, the red tracksuit jacket is part of the Firebird 1 Track tops which is priced at $65. There are plenty of colors to choose from from green, white, to Katy’s red. From looking at the selections, Katy is actually wearing the mens version, which some women may prefer because of the fit. However, the women’s versions have variations of pink and other fun and feminine colors.
Adidas has come a long way since it was founded over half a century ago. The brand uniquely known for it’s stripes has adapted with fashion and changing markets to always deliver sportswear that is not only functional but fashionable. From their relationships with designs like Stella McCarthy and Jeremy Scott, they have been able to create a perfect blend of fashions that promote art and athleticism. And their latest pair of white ballet flats with wings? well that is definitely All Katy… and could be All You. Good Job Team Adidas!

WWE Diva, Kelly Kelly, looked like a shooting star with her sparkly gem-encrusted sheer flesh-toned mini dress. Her overall look came together through balancing her show-stopper dress and combining it with soft hair and makeup. Ms. Kelly2, thanked RappAround and Lending Luxury for helping pull her red carpet look altogether. Kelly, attending the Maxim Hot 100 party with her superstar style. She was honored with the rank of #82 and joins the list with stars like Eva Mendes, Olivia Munn, and Victoria’s Secret Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
While the Maxim Hot 100 party got hotter with Kelly’s appearance, the Idol stage on American Idol got a little more glamourous. Haley Reinhart soulful rendition of “I Who Have Nothing” was jazzed up with the singer in a short black cocktail dress with a floral accent by Terani. The Terani number retails for $430 dollars but you can get this look for less at LendingLuxury.com along with many other fabulous Terani gowns and dresses. The dress Haley wore is the Terani Couture c433 cocktail dress. It is rumored the contestants of American Idol get anywhere from $400 to $500 a week for clothing expenses. If that is true, choosing a Terani gown at full price may not be the most affordable option for them, or many Americans for that matter. However, that being said, this Terani number is worth every penny because it looks like a million bucks.
Lending Luxury has dresses for every occasion with a variety of lengths, designers, and colors to choose from. The whole concept behind this company is amazing for a several of reasons. First, whenever men have to go to prom or a wedding, they are able to rent a tux and not have to deal with the hassle of shelling out a ton of money for an item you’ll probably only wear once. Second, how many of you have ever wanted a sister or even to belong in a sorority where the word “Closet” means “Sure, you can borrow my charcoal grey dress for the banquet. Oh, and thanks for lending me your polished blazer last week for my interview!” Well, LendingLuxury.com is something like that except your big sister happens to a stylist to the stars with access to AH-mazing designers. Third, none of the items listed are knock-offs (Do we even need to get into the ethics of purchasing counterfeit items? I’d Hope not). Fourth, Savings!! Not only money for obvious reasons but also space. My closet can bury 27 dresses any day, full of dresses that I can’t necessarily pull out and wear to the grocery store. Having the option of borrowing a dress is awesome because the fact that you need to return it means you save a good portion of your closet from excess tulle.

Maybe you don’t need a dress for a wedding or prom, but just a great top or cocktail dress for your weekend getaway. Lending Luxury offers an assortment of tops from brands like Savage, Betsey Johnson, Nicole Miller, and more. They even have Meghan Fabulous which has been worn by Eve, Bai Ling, Paris Hilton, and Haley Reinhart.

I was recently posed this very question from friend and responded via Facebook:
I was sad to hear about the lack of physical store availability of the brand. I love their eyeshadows, cleansers, and of course their coveted eyelash curler. The brand has a cult following of beauty editors, makeup artists, and gals who know a good curl is essential to making eyes pop (even on those no-makeup days). Shu Uemura, much like brands like Prescriptives which have a great following of beauty addicts have built a strong reputation for quality and innovation which continues not with counter-space, but cyberspace.
For the record, Carol Hamilton, president of L’Oréal USA’s Luxury Division explained: “We love the brand, but it is a very small part of our portfolio.” Hamilton added ”It’s a simple decision after a very complex analysis: we have a very large portfolio, and we want to focus on growing the brands which have a larger presence in the U.S. market.”
I am very happy to note that we all have access to the brand which is currently promoting their “Morphorium” line of eye color and palettes through their website. I particularly love the morphorium blue palette. The colors remind of of a peacock set in lush greenery. While the actually application gives off a Katy Perry-esque feel with the pops of color.

Barbarella is an iconic 1968 science fiction film based on the French Barbarella comicscreated by Jean-Claude Forest. The film was directed by Roger Vadim and starred actress Jane Fonda. The film and title-character has been used to inspire looks for many ad campaigns and editorials of today with some of the worlds most beautiful women. Like the mystique of Marilyn Monroe and trademark looks of Bridgette Bardot, Fonda’s character unleashes inhibitions to create looks that are not only ultra-feminine but strong as well. Take a look at some photos below of Kim Kardashian, Jesinta Campbell, and more as they pay tribute to the sci-fi film.

Before Christina Aguilera entered the world of Burlesque, she stepped into a look that seemed to come straight from a Sci-fi film.

In GQ, Shakira gave a strong pose with big hair and a form-fitting bodysuit channeling a scene from the film

Some think 2 inches is every day, 3 inches is party time, and 4 inches well, if you can walk in them then bless your sole. Maybe you prefer a kitten heel or perhaps you love your Louboutins like Jennifer Lopez. Stilettos from the clickity-clack sound and pointed tip have always been an iconic staple in Bombshell wardrobes from Marilyn Monroe to Jessica Rabbit. When a woman is wearing heels you always hear her coming and want to know where she is going. But, just like any other fashion, there are always styles, colors, and material to choose from. I personally like boots with a stiletto heel made of black suede.
Whether you want a patent leather finish, or a maryjane style, or satin, there is a stiletto out there for everyone. Now you can buy them for any occasion Air Jordan’s make high-heeled sneakers and now Tevas (Yes the sports sandal maker) has teamed up with Grey Ant to create a sure impressionable stiletto/sandal combo that is sure to catch attention, especially when worn with socks. For a mere $330 you can own a pair of stilettos that is as eye catching as a high-heeled pair of Uggs.

The picture above might be an extreme case-in-point but, hopefully the point I will be trying to make will be clear. While I love to pay tribute to Jessica Rabbit with her side swept do covering one eye, I believe sometimes we take styles to the extreme where they are non-functional and partially to blame for our bad driving. I have to admit I’ve taken the side swept bang look to the extremes as certain times where I would be lucky to see out one eye. However, I’ve been trying to deprogram myself saving it’s ok to show face as well as safer. I still love bangs, don’t get me wrong, they can soften or add mystery but just like those huge trucks with the caution “If you can see me then I can’t see you”, the same rule tends to be in effect.

This is why I appreciate what Megan Fox gives on the red carpet, she doesn’t hide her face behind heavy bangs or a dramatic do’ she brings the drama to her eyes and that’s immediately where the focus goes. I’m not urging you to change your hairstyle if you like it, I’m pushing you to think about why you wear your hair a certain way? Does it make you appear more attractive? Does it make you feel like yourself? Are you attempting to hide something? If you answer is ‘Yes, I’m trying to hide the acne on my forehead’ I would caution you that oil and dirt and compound behind the heavy fridge thus, making your situation worse. Be confident about your face and try something different every once in a while. I leave you with Megan Fox and a tune I found on youtube which deals with the same subject.

Sephora talked to famed Hairdresser Oscar Blandi who has his own line of hair products and celebrity clients include Kelly Ripa and Jennifer Lopez. Oscar in his own words said “My favorite party hair look is always halfup, half down. It’s not too formal, yet is a little more than your everyday style. It’s also uplifting and flattering to have some hair pulled away from the face. Always attempt any up do the day after washing your hair. Hair that is a little dirty holds better. Use my Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray, too, to remove any excessive oil and give roots a boost.”
For his ‘must-have’ holiday product? Blandi prefers his Oscar Blandi Lacca Hairspray; “a necessity to create any look. It not only offers a long-lasting flexible hold, but also volumizes hair and fights frizz instantly.” Blandi also shared a styling tip for your Holiday hair; “Always curl hair prior to putting it up, using either a one-inch iron or hot rollers. And be sure to accessorize- adding a vintage pin or jewel will take style from day to evening.”
Oscar Blandi has a full line of products from shampoos, conditioners, to styling products. My personal favorite is the Oscar Blandi Olio di Jasmine Hair Serum. This serum not only smells amazing but leaves your hair feeling soft and looking shiny. It you curl your flat iron your hair, pump a dollop on your hand and rub your hands together and gently polish the ends of your hair working up half way. It adds shines, prevents frizz and will leave your hair smelling great throughout the night. This also works as a great heat protectant on damp hair prior to blowdrying.

While the price of $35 might have some skeptical, I will say a little goes a long way. I use this product about 3 to 5 times a week and I bought it three months ago and it’s still over half full. It also worked well with my other styling products particularly when I use hairspray I get scared about serums adding uneven weight or ‘breaking down’ the hold, but this product seems to add to the smoothness and softness I want. I don’t personally like hair that is hard, greasy, ’crunchy’ and untouchable which is why I love this serum because it’s not too thick where you feel you need to wash your hair, or too thin where you feel it does nothing for you.

To add more glamour while still maintaining a youthful glow to your celebrity inspired look. I recommend a light silvery or platinum lid full of sparkle and shine, luminous skin, and nude lips. Remember when Jennifer Lopez performed alongside Tom Cruise for the MTV Movie Awards? Well her star power was showing with her fun curls slightly pulled back paired with a silvery lid and nude lips with luminous glowing skin. This look is perfect for holiday parties because it’s a festive look but not overpowering for those you tend to stray away from more vibrant colors.

Selena Gomez is might be known more for her image as a Disney star with her show Wizards of Waverly Place but, the actress has also put her talents in feature films and music. Gomez lends her vocals to Selena Gomez & The Scene; a band which also consists of Ethan Roberts on guitar, Joey Clement on bass, Greg Garman on drums, and Dane Forrest on Keyboards.
One day when I was dabbling videos on Youtube, the video for ‘A Year Without Rain’ came out and I instantly felt attracted to the aesthetics of the video as well as the song. Although I heard of Gomez prior to this, it was the first time I have actually seen any performance piece of hers. I especially appreciated that the image and music of the video showed the baby-faced teen in a mature light than what I expected from a Disney star. And by mature I don’t mean scantily-clad teen trying to thrust off her Disney-bubble gum-pop image by relying on overtly sexual dance moves and suggestive lyrics but rather Gomez looked sophisticated, mature, modestly sensual, and not to mention beautiful.
I loved her silvery smokey-eye and thought of it as a wearable look that people who love a Kim Kardashian smokey eye makeup look could pull off for daytime wear. If you haven’t seen the video yet, check it out below.
Also, here is one of Youtube’s Beauty Guru’s doing her own rendition of a look inspired by the ‘A Year Without Rain’ If you haven’t subscribed to DulceCandy87, then please check her channel out.
