The outgoing Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete, said upon anticipating the relinquishing of her crown; “The crown lets you do many beautiful things, but it also teaches you a lot as a person and as a woman. Traveling, getting to know new cultures. All of that enriches you.”

Fox asked Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup, “Would you change your religious beliefs to marry the person you love? Why or why not?” Supsup answered ”If I would have to change my religious beliefs, I would not marry the person that I love.
