Caress brand of soaps and body-washes has always been part of my bath-time sessions since I was a kid. I remember the word Caress engraved on a smooth and silky bar of soap while I played with suds during my bath with my rubber ducky. And I still do today, minus the rubber ducky. Caress is one of those brands of yesteryear that has really grown up with you and I. Bath-time is indeed about getting clean and feeling fresh, but Caress has aimed to bring a bit of luxury to our showers in addition to leaving out skin feeling clean and silky as well as smelling wonderful. I recently picked up the New Caress Fine Fragrance Elixirs Body Wash in Scarlett Blossom and I am loving the experience that this affordable product has given me. I’m one of those people who loves a nice body wash that leaves a lingering scent without any residue; and this body wash delivers. The New Caress Fine Fragrance Elixirs Body Wash comes in a couple of scents which include Scarlett Blossom as well as Sheer Twilight. Scarlett Blossom is described as “a finely fragranced body wash infused with the scent of red lychee and patchouli oil”  while Sheer Twilight is “a finely fragranced body wash infused with Fragrance Pearls which release the scent of Black Orchid and Juniper Oil”.At the time of purchase I didn’t see Sheer Twilight so I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out but judging by Scarlett Blossom, I would have picked up both. Sheer Twilight also seems to be a favorite of many and it was also featured in the April/May issue of Siempre Mujer. I was intrigued by Scarlett Blossom because of the Red Lychee scent which is both sweet and exotic. When I smelled it, it had a warm, sweet, creamy scent without being overpowering. When I tried it in the shower, Scarlett Blossom worked up a rich lather as it cleansed my body and left warm sweet notes on my skin. When I toweled off and dried I could still smell the scent carry though, not so much where it would conflict with your favorite body spray or perfume but enough to play with your senses and send you to bed smelling great. The New Caress Fine Fragrance Elixirs Body Wash definitely lives up to its promise to linger “on your soft skin long after you step out of the shower.” The New Caress Fine Fragrance Elixirs Body Wash are just in time for summer when you probably just want to get out of the shower with your skin feeling soft but clean. I particularly like this body wash for night time use because it’s warm and almost like wrapping a luxurious silk robe on your body in bath and leaving with your senses romanced out of the shower. So clearly, I’ve found my love affair for those long summer nights when I have a date with The Notebook, sweats, and a ponytail.
