You may remember Eugena Washington from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 7. Unlike another former Top Model who posed nude, Washington did not win. It was the cycle when Caridee English won the coveted prize. But don’t feel bad for Washington, she’s been doing her own thing and is a testament to the idea that “things will happen when the time is right” with a pitch of working hard to get to where you want to be.
Although the panel on ANTM panned the 5’9 beauty for looking like a fish out of water, Eugena proved they might be right and she is a bird flying high. Here are some photos of the lovely and beautiful Eugena Washington. I was rooting for her throughout cycle 7 to win but in a way she really did win. Since her cycle the stunning beauty has modeled for Southpole nation-wide ad campaigns, Clinique, Smashbox cosmetics, Ken Paves Salon, Los Angeles Teen Prom, and Belle Formals just to mention a few. She’s also done runway work for Christian Audigier, Kevan Hall, Rami Kashou, Anthony Franco, Pussycat Dolls by Robin Antin, and in Fashion Week in Los Angeles and New York shows.
Her music video credits include “This is the Girl” by Craig David and Kano, “Take You There” by Donnie Klang, and the amazing “Nothin On You” by B.o.B. Below are a few photos of the Eugena Washington, all courtesy.
Eugena looks soft and elegant in the photo above while her eyes are lined and mascara has been applied, the overall look is sweet and natural with slight definition. Because of her beautiful tone and complexion simple makeup with emphasis on her amazing eyes is key to creating this natural look. For added definition apply a blush as you would a bronzer to contour the hollows of your cheek, try the universally flattering Nars ‘Orgasm’ and Nars ‘Albatross’ for highlight. This will create definition without harsh lines.
From the Smashbox Masters Class Vol 3 which Eugena is featured on, it comes with everything you need for a perfect complexion. I like to apply Smashbox Photo Op under my eyes prior to putting on concealer to help brighten the under-eye area and awaken my eyes.
Washington has said in Jones Magazine, ”I have a full-blown modeling career not because of Tyra, but because I fought for it. Starting out, I didn’t know very much about the ins and outs of the fashion industry; I just knew I wanted to be in the middle of it all”.
